Marc Jacobs Accepts CFDA Lifetime Achievement Award

Marc Jacobs was presented with the Council of Fashion Designers of America's Lifetime Achievement Award by his good friend Sofia Coppola the other day. Marc has an amazing body of work and the show prior to his acceptance was amazing. However we kinda got a bit of a shock when he came out. We're hoping his sweating face was of a badly AC'd venue and his stuttering because he was nervous. Otherwise, YIKES!

We've been meaning to post an interview with the fabulous Serbian/Croatian Australian model Andrej Pejic for a while now. However the stuff that's been around has been far too condescending to consider, focusing on the wrong stuff. Who the hell cares if people get confused about him? Hellooo it's 2011! This clip is more OK and gets Andrej's point across. Have a look at this fabulous model's beginning in fashion - we have a feeling he will be legendary! After all he's already walked both the men's and women's shows for Marc Jacobs and Jean-Paul Gaultier and is  ranked no.98 in FHM magazine's 100 Sexiest Women in the World 2011.

Marc Jacobs showed his collection for spring/summer 2011 last night during New York Fashion Week. We're not crazy about shiny fabric, but we really dig the 70's retro feel of the garments and the prints are fabulous.
