Kelis - Jerk Ribs - Premiere

We've come a long way baby! Kelis just premiered her new single Jerk Ribs, and as an organic retro tinged horn heavy number it's light years away from her recent years as a club kid. Produced by Dave Sitek who previously has worked with Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs, Santigold and Lykke Li we're more than curious to hear more. This new pairing are readying 2 new Kelis albums for this year! Skream + Kelis - Copy Cat - Premiere

Skream and Kelis seem to be hitting it off real nicely! Copy Cat follows Distance from over the summer if you remember! We're wild about the minimalistic beat with this one too! Plus the sampled cat is so cute and to die for, haha + the clever lyrics - talk about being catty, haha! Nothing seemed to develop from Distance so can we hope for a fuller release of both tracks on the EP? Copy Cat is out December 21st!

We were listening to Kelis earlier today - and tonight UK radio premiered her Skream produced new single Distance! Wow, it's a big leap from her club record Flesh Tone, and it's to our liking.
