Australian DJ Late Nite Tuff Guy puts his spin on When I Think of You and adds some real nice n' retro 80's vibes to the Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis production. Originally released in the summer of '86 as the third single from the Control album it became JJ's first #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. She was 20 y.o and broke away from her brother Michael's shadow big time with this one. We're suckers for how gorgeous her vocals are and the way she really soars over the funky beat.
