Keep the streets empty for her

Karin Dreijer Anderssons Fever Ray project is really starting to come together. We love the music and visuals. And now she's on tour, mainly in Sweden but also in London, Rotterdam and Barcelona to name a few. See the whole list here. Check out a snippet of the live version of Keep the streets empty for me, when Fever Ray stopped by Babel in Malmö, Sweden. Looks great!

Fever Ray goes mainstream radio

Check out the Dan Lissvik remix of When I Grow Up. Sounds like Karin Dreijer Andersson wants to get some airplay on the local radio! We miss the eeriness of the album version. But this sort of sticks, much like, well, a Top 40 radio remix. We're gonna continue to listen to the album version however.

Fever Ray - for free

We love that If I Had a Heart with Fever Ray is this weeks music video of the week on iTunes US. Go Karin! If you didn't get a chance to watch it yet, do so below.

New Fever Ray!

Check out When I Grow Up by Fever Ray below. Delish!

It's directed by Martin de Thurah who says:

That initial idea was something about something coming out of water - something which was about to take form - a state turning into something new. And a double headed creaturenot deciding which where to turn. But the idea had to take a simpler form, to let the song grow by itself. I remembered a photo I took in Croatia two years ago, a swimming pool with its shining blue color in a grey foggy autumn landscape.”

More, gimme more, gimme more

Like a cold night, when you shiver in bed, burning up from a fever. This is the debut single from Karin Dreijer's solo project Fever Ray. If I had a heart glistens like ice in a moonlit forest when you are trying to find your way home. There is no one to help you and you lost your phone.

We like both the song and the video. It's been a real slow burner and we still need some time to get acquainted. A special shout out to Nicklas who made the kick ass fish people. See you in Orebronx for beer and burgers.
