Video Premiere: Austra - Future Politics

Katie Stelmanis sees the unnerving political times we live in and channels her toughts into a new Austra album. Future Politics is released on January 20 2017 and lead single is the title track. A pulsating electro beat with a piercing vocal and thundering drums helps to deliver the message of change. As Katie says: It's time to build visions that are radically different from anything we've known before. The striking visuals builds on the same theme; a bleak corporate world with strict clothing and skyscrapers and concrete where dancing takes over and an alternate gathering forms. It reminds of Little Boots' Working Era actually!

The dream pop band from Toronto, Austra, drop their new album Olympia on June 17th, having us a bit 'restu-less' until then! New single Painful Like is a dream with a flawless disco groove.
