Premiere: AlunaGeorge Feat. Popcaan - I'm In Control (The Magician Remix)

Aluna Francis and George Reid are in control indeed and their bop I'm In Control featuring Popcaan gets a piano house treatment by The Magician. Nice! It's old school magic with sweet piano notes, deep bassline and on point vocals soaring above. And of course - hand claps, a stellar drum production and clipped moody backing vox. Too hot - enjoy!

AlunaGeorge are back with a brand new single! I'm In Control is a direct and catchy number and features rising Jamaican dancehall artist Popcaan. Actually, this set up reminds slightly of No Doubt's Hey Baby! Could it be perhaps their final break in the US? This as they also, we just checked, are signed to Interscope now, No Doubt's home label... It's bouncy and fun so let's see what the summer brings for 'em!

Around this time last year we had a magical bootleg nu-disco remix by David Pimentel a.k.a. Pomo of Sade's Nothing Can Come Between Us. It's been on steady repeat all year to say the least! Now the time has come for an official mix and it's another stellar jam. AlunaGeorge's Supernatural had us *death droppin'* all over the place in October and then again last month! Now we're getting a sweet lounge feel with early '00 club elements and we're not complaining. It's retro, groovy and dare we say - summery! Enjoooy!

AlunaGeorge had us dancin' in 2,5 seconds with their amazing Supernatural almost two months ago. The effortless and stellar vibe is one for the dance floors for many a years and here comes the first remix. Amsterdam based producer Mike Mago infuses the track with a spooky feeling when pitching Aluna's voice and adding some bells (literally) and whistles. Cool, cool! Listen belooow. Enjoy!

Iiii, how good is this?! Too good! Aluna Francis and George Reid really hits a home run with excellent new single Supernatural. Well known for their amazing Disclosure feat. AlunaGeorge collaboration White Noise last year - this rivals the immediate need to hit repeat and then plotting to play it with a slight delay on two (or more) devices, haha. Love the production - it's so effortless and relaxed but with a lot going on at the same time. Vocally it's stunning with the lead really soothing us and then the slight robotic one comes through with some sharpness. Love it! Dat groove tho. Can't get enough! Welcome back!
