Madonna's stunning 1998 single Frozen marked the start of her crazy successful Ray Of Light era. Everything was on point for starters. Writing with long term collaborator Patrick Leonard, extending the production level of William Orbit to a full scale album co-producer and then working with Chris Cunningham for the superb video. Not to mention how amazing the vocals are, crystal clear, haunting and emotive as they are. Some 16 years later it still sounds and looks absolutely fresh and timeless. Russian producer Alexandr Craspore re-works this electronic ballad into a heart pounding moment. Like running after your lover in the rain and being certain there is no hope, feeling your heart race through your veins and face.
