Premiere: Active Child Feat. Mikky Ekko - Subtle

Um, holy crap! We'd say this is anything but Subtle! Listen to the fantastic new collaboration between UK electronic master producer Pat Grossi a.k.a Active Child and silky voiced Louisiana singer/songwriter Mikky Ekko. We love it and needed something smooth with sharp edges tonight for sure. The warm tone of Mikky's voice blends perfectly with the busy and laser like music. Those bursts of wonderful 80's synths and the spit fire na-na-na-na-na vox are just too good! L.o.v.e!

We've had Ellie Goulding's Active Child cover on repeat the last few days. Hanging On is a harrowing and dark track and we love it. The video is simplistic and raw - complementing the darkness. Check it out. We prefer the solo version - download that and the Tinie Tempah version here!
