La Roux is back in full force with a summer jam! Uptight Downtown follows the more somber Let Me Down Gently and kicks up the party mood a few notches. The music even picks up where David Bowie's Let's Dance left off! We love this breezy kinda carefree vibe, perfect for summer and late night dancing. It's effortless and cool and the subtle backing vocals we cannot even. Ben Langmaid has left the duo by the way so now Elly truly is a solo act. Listen below! Thoughts?
