Premiere: La Roux - Let Me Down Gently

La Roux are finally back with new material! Let Me Down Gently is the first taster of their upcoming second album Trouble In Paradise. It's hard to fathom it's five years since their debut album dropped. Wow! We saw Elly Jackson and keyboardist Mickey O'Brien live at The Roxy in Los Angeles in April 2009 and it truly feels like a lifetime ago! The new single is a slow burner that kicks off when you least expect it. Nice! It's so smooth and the looming saxophone adds an urgency and a sense of doom. Setting you up slowly to be let down....
