David Bowie, the enigmatic chameleon for the ages drops a brand new single and releases the b-side first. Meet 'Tis A Pity She Was A Whore, a dark, experimental, industrial, messy, with muffled vocals. Says Bowie himself: “If Vorticists wrote Rock Music it might have sounded like this.” The lyrics acknowledges the shocking rawness of WW1 and the title borrows from ‘Tis Pity She's A Whore’ a John Ford Restoration play premiering in 1629 at the Cockpit Theatre in London. The single A-side is called Sue (Or In A Season of Crime) and drops on November 17th as a limited edition 10" plus as a download of course.
