Free Download: Tori Amos - Father Lucifer (King Britt's Sylkscreen Remix)

We've dived deep down in the infinite pool that is the world of 90's music lately. One song we cannot stop listening to is the King Britt remix of Tori Amos' amazing Father Lucifer. We're hypnotized in fact! The original can be found on her iconic 1996 album Boys For Pele, with the remix used as a b-side to the vinyl release of Jackie's Strength in 1998. The original's almost jaunty feeling is replaced with a more subdued atmosphere that swirls around us like black smoke. Tori lyrcis are always so poetic and surrounded with mystery, this just adds to the glory. Truly amazing and how wonderful to be able to share this hidden gem like this. Enjoy! Tori Amos - Gold Dust - Full Album Stream

Tori Amos released her new album Gold Dust this week and we've been playing it non stop for the last few days. We're blown away and so happy to have these gorgeous new reimagined versions of songs from ten of her twelve albums. Released to celebrate 20 years since her breakthrough with Little Earthquakes - Tori has teamed up once again with the Metropole Orchestra after their successful 2010 concert in Amsterdam - the first orchestral concert of her career. Also on-board is long time collaborator John Philip Shenale as co-producer and arranger. Worth noting is that he's behind the arrangements to every Tori album bar two! We love how lush and effortless the whole album sounds. It's a real labour of love for sure - Tori plays her Bösendorfer and sings her material with a passion that really connects with us, but takes our infatuation further. The added new arrangements and classical setting only makes us that more excited for what lies ahead, not just happy to hear the old material in a new setting. The glowing reviews from her current tour supporting the album makes us immensely happy too. It's impossible to pick just one song but the soaring chorus in Silent All These Years made our heart burst from happiness. Listen to the whole album below. Tori Amos - Carry - Video Premiere!

Tori Amos premiered her new song and video Carry earlier today. She is after a lot of label issues under the classical Deutsche Grammophon owned by Universal and Night Of Hunters is released on September 20th with Carry as its first single. We just wanna know why is ALL the new promo pics air brushed to hell and back? We picked the least worked on! You are beautiful Tori so there is really no need and very upsetting. Watch below.
