ACNE - Spring/Summer 2011 - Full Fashion Show

Acne presented their Spring/Summer '11 collection in the the former apartments of Princess Margaret at Kensington Palace yesterday, during London Fashion Week. Showing a hippie-esque style with multi layering and oversized tops we had the sudden urge to call 1992 on a home phone number. Watch the whole show below. Do you like it? The garments certainly look comfortable and extremely wearable.

Jeremy Scott - Spring/Summer 2011 - Full Fashion Show

....and the meat dress popped up and said hello at the Jeremy Scott Spring/Summer show at New York Fashion Week. It's trending for sure, not just on Twitter! JS presented a collection celebrating the classic party girls of NYC that will take a t-shirt at turn it into a party dress, stealing her brothers underwear and creating a purse and recreating her grannies hairdo for a night out on the town. Loving the skeleton dresses and the leather bone jackets. For the boys JS reeeeeaaally likes his leather chaps!

Elle Magazine's Epic Fail for their October 2010 issue

The editor-in-chief of Elle magazine should get some reprimands for the October issue for sure. Talk about being singled out and what an epic fail for them! For their 25th anniversary issue they chose 4 cover stars for their editorial "25 women under 25" with Gabourey Sidibe as one of them. Well problem #1 is that Gabourey is 27, haha. And what the hell did they do to her? When the other stars get to show off their scrawny bodies Gabby is left with a tightly cropped picture in what looks like a terrible dress. Not to mention that weave! Also the fact that she appears to have much lighter skin than IRL. Fail! Check out what Ebony did for their March issue - H.O.T. Marc Jacobs showed his collection for spring/summer 2011 last night during New York Fashion Week. We're not crazy about shiny fabric, but we really dig the 70's retro feel of the garments and the prints are fabulous.
