Help East Africa's Famine-Stricken
The UN estimates more than 11 million people in East Africa are affected by the worst drought in 60 years, with 3.7 million in Somalia among the worst-hit because of the ongoing civil war in the country having areas controlled by al-Qaida-linked militants, and the U.N. is set to declare all of southern Somalia a famine zone as of Aug. 1. We have donated money to Medicins Sans Frontiers and World Food Programme and encourage everyone to do the same, to either these mentioned or the charity of choice. Children are dying from starvation at a rapid speed and desperately need our help in any way we can. Please help.
