Leona Lewis - Hurt (Nine Inch Nail Cover)

Clearly that Leona Lewis comeback is off to a rocky start or not happening at all, with her club track dying and album being pushed for next year. Yikes. Kudos to her tho, as she could've easily taken the disco route - but here pretty unexpected is Hurt, her lead off single to her Hurt EP. Yes, this is a cover of Nine Inch Nails, also famously covered by Johnny Cash. We're no big fans of her (sowwy) and we're not sure how well this will go down with her fan base. We have a hard time seeing Leona as a heroin junkie for sure, although of course there are lots of ways of hurting. No disrespect. Just a bit puzzled. Thoughts?
