Mrs Fanny Cradock

There are bitches, and then there's TV Cook Fanny Cradock. We love cooking shows and this clip know as The Gwen Troake Incident is insanity. Mrs Cradock tried to tear Gwen Troake, a housewife, to shreds during a competition, saying "You're among professionals now" to her when she was presented the menu. And told her it simply wasn't good enough.

The rude manner in which she had spoken to Troake, the public complained in droves and demanded her shows be axed from the BBC. Cradock wrote an apology to Troake but the BBC terminated her contract two weeks after the programme. She never presented a cookery programme again.
