Premiere: Lady GaGa - The Cure

Lady GaGa headlined Coachella last night and premiered a brand new song! It's streaming everywhere already and it sounds ace. The Cure is a big step away from her Joanne country album and more towards her roots in electronic sounds with a hint of The Weeknd realness thrown in there, too. We like it a lot, and it fits her so much better, at least according to these ears listening at this very moment in time. C'mon The Cure! GaGa's voice is so supple and the production is super tight - a pure joy to listen to. Stream it below and click here for the live clip!

Premiere: Beth Ditto - Fire

Beth Ditto's solo career is literally on Fire and we love it! After her glorious 2011 EP produced by Simian Mobile Disco we've been craving more, more, more. Her debut solo album Fake Sugar will be out on June 16th - this first taster harks more back to her Gossip band days than her electro EP. We don't mind one bit though. Fire has a slow and steady groove that makes us think of Johnny Cash a bit and Beth's iconic vocals really gets to shine. Imagine this one live in small and sweaty club setting - OMG. Enjoy below! Thoughts?

Video Premiere: Björk - Notget

Björk invites us into her VR world with visuals to her fantastic Notget from 2015's stellar album Vulnicura. Directed by Warren Du Preez & Nick Thornton Jones it's part of the björk digital exhibition at Foto Museo Cuatro Caminos. We love how otherwordly it looks, literally, and yet so familiar. Björk is front and center and there is no way to miss her now iconic dance moves, perfectly captured here. Like a video game from another dimention we get teleported into a bold world with a deep sense of angst and sadness. Much like the song it hurts to watch and we still cannot get over how brilliant the word "notget" is. It sums it up perfectly and we so wanna go to the exhibition. Who's in?

Premiere: Blondie - Long Time

Words cannot truly express the happiness we feel to hear how fantastic and dynamic Blondie as a band is sounding right now! Their Pollinator album era is shaping up to be bloody gorgeous! The album drops May 5th and Long Time is out n o w and what a track! Co-written by fabulous Dev Hynes and harks back to their disco days, namely Heart Of Glass, but still has its gaze fixed on the road ahead. It's fun, tight and sounds like a true band playing together with all the energy that brings. Debbie Harry's voice, iconic as it is, soars over all that goodness and infuses with her wondrous talent. LOVE!

Premiere: Feist - Pleasure

It's been over five long years since we last had a new Feist album. Thankfully the wait is almost over! April 28th sees release of her fifth studio album - Pleasure. First taster is the title track, a raw and guitar driven track with those iconic vocals front and centre. It's sparse and really builds up a painting of sounds as the time progresses, starting so soft you wonder if the stream is not working. And then takes off and soars. Says Leslie Feist:

I made this record last winter with 2 of my closest friends, Mocky and Renaud LeTang. I was raw and so were the takes. Our desire was to record that state without guile or go-to's and to pin the songs down with conviction and our straight up human bodies. I titled the album Pleasure like I was planting a seed or prophecising some brightness. The experience of pleasure is mild or deep, sometimes temporal, sometimes a sort of low grade lasting, usually a motivator. If the way you look at things is how they look then my motivation is to look with a brighter eye.
