As we blogged about at the end of last year 'With Every Heartbeat' by Robyn and Kleerup is an amazing song. And we are still listening to the electro remixes found on the EP. The first video version was sheit filmed with a camcorder on the streets of NYC. Now it's getting a proper UK release backed with a brand new video and remix package. The Pete Tong & Dave Spoon Remix is really awesome!
The vid is so so to be honest. Robyn in cropped hair walking backwards in an animated environment that looks like the left overs from Kylie's 2002 hit 'Love at first sight' by Johan Renck.

Golden Girls goes gay

Ok, I guess Golden Girls is quite gay anyway? Old, strong single women who live together in a fabulous house and have great clothes and accessories. But it's easy to forget when you see old re-runs that being an old lady and having no man or being gay was quite a stigma then on national television and still is for many people around the world.
Watching old shows on slow morning is so nice. And when I saw this episode and had muesli I realised just how awkward it was back then. Blanche's gay brother shows up and he's bringing a surprise...
