A Camp's self titled first album is easily one of the most played in the Gangster household. It's pure perfection. So we've been eagerly awaiting new material from Nina Persson, Nathan Larson and Niklas Frisk.
It's been a long 8 years...
And now finally - the first sample off new album Colonia is here - Stronger Than Jesus.
The expectations are high and A Camp definitely delivers. It is greatness that we see will age as beautifully as Songs for Leftovers and Rock n' Roll Ghost. We are a bit surprised that the fantastic trio didn't quite deliver an amazing video to this amazing song. This we say as the videos to their previous releases have been flawless and that Nina's The Cardigans are known for their quirkiness and style when it comes to videos. But that's a minor flaw. You gotta give props to Robyn. She's been pimping her last album the past (almost) 4 years. And it's taken her around the world and back. From local Swedish festivals to David Letterman and opening for Madonna in Europe. Just in time for Xmas she's releasing yet another version of the album with new cover art and remixes and a full bonus DVD with all the videos. When we saw her in 2005 we fell in love with the electro version of her old hit Keep This Fire Burning. It awesome. And now we have the studio version as appearing on the pimped out version of Robyn. Victoria Beckham is pimping herself hardcore as a designer. And we have to admit her debut ad for the dVb Collection is pretty cute. It totally reminds us of Róisín Murphy's amazing video to You Know Me Better. Check out both below.

One of our favorite comedy duos is French and Saunders. They are pure gold.
They've always had a thing for doing Madonna parody's and we guess it's because she's quite easy to put an evil and funny twist to. Check out their latest parody. 'tis quite funny although we've seen the amazing duo be way funnier than this. What we like is that they've done a disco version of their own 'C'est la Vie' that they did an ABBA parody to years and years ago. It takes a hardcore fan to spot that we guess. But it puts a nice twist to the parody as Madonna used an ABBA sample to create Hung Up in 2005.
